He is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from VJTI affiliated to the Mumbai University and Holder of Graduate Diploma in Materials Management conferred by the Indian Institute of Materials Management. He has also successfully completed Green Belt certification for Lean Sigma applications and is Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2008, ISO: 14001:2004, ISO: 18001:2007.

During his professional tenure of more than 3 decades, he has performed increasingly senior roles in the End-to-End Supply Chain viz. Production Planning & Inventory Control, 3P Contract Manufacturing, Warehousing and Primary Distribution, with Procurement as a forte, across industry verticals of Pharmaceuticals, Packaging, FMCG and Engineering. He is well versed with managing and optimising sourcing function for local, regional and global operations in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.

He has served the leading organisations like GlaxoSmithKline Pharma, J & J Consumer and Godfrey Philips.

He carries with him a rich exposure of working in Matrix Organisations in MNCs where Procurement is the Global mandate with Strategic Sourcing and e Procurement as powerful levers to continuously add value to the bottom line of the organisation and evolve a robust & secured supply chain. Competencies in terms of Green Belt Certification and ISO Internal Auditor certification has helped him to go beyond the cost and bring in sustainable value from the key supply base to the organisation. Developing high performing and seamless teams continue to be his passion.
